Hood River County Library's Internet Policy

The Internet contains vast resources of information and entertainment. Not everything is accurate or verifiable, and there are sites and materials that are objectionable to some people and inappropriate for children. While Hood River County Library does not wish to censor or restrict Internet access or content, we expect users to exercise good judgment while viewing materials at the library. The Internet computers are located in a public place where children or families may be present. Disregard of these guidelines by individuals can result in their loss of Internet privileges at the library.

Hood River County Library is not responsible for the content of materials viewed or selected by children; it is the responsibility of parents to monitor and guide their children in the proper use of the Internet.
